Who was at the Boston Marathon? Breakdown of runners by country and state (data)

More than 23,000 people from around the world set foot on Boston Marathon's 26-mile long race before the explosions shut down the internationally-celebrated event. Roughly 17,500 were recorded to have finished, according to data provided by The Boston Athletic Association.
