Kate Middleton tops Vanity Fair International Best-Dressed List

Kate forked out $55,000 on clothing in the first half of the year.

It is the third time Middleton, who has worn every top designer but is not shy about recycling her wardrobe, has been included in the prestigious list, USA Today reported.

At least one enterprising wedding guest at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding last year must have been planning a head. A slice of the royal couple's wedding cake has turned up for sale on pfcauctions.com.

The bidding already is above $1,700, and the auction doesn't close until later this month. A printed note from the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall and a program from the couple's wedding is included in the price.

The bidding started at $160.

PFC auctions believes the cake is the first slice to make it to auction from the royal wedding in April 2011.

Pippa, 28, was in the front seat of an Audi convertible in Paris with three male friends when the driver pulled out a pistol and jokingly aimed it at a paparazzi photographer who was following them, according to the Sun.

Gosh darn that dashing Prince William. That gorgeous Kate Middleton. They're always up on pedestal, out of reach to us mere mortals. Now, thanks to new wax statues of the newlyweds at Madame Tussaud’s, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be on display for all posterity.

The new figurines capture the couple as they appeared in their classy engagement photos, the duchess sporting an elegant Issa dress, the duke grinning and wearing a nice purple tie.

It's Lupo! Will and Kate name their puppy

We -- finally -- know the name of Will and Kate's puppy. The young, black cocker spaniel has been given the name Lupo, according to the Associated Press.

Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, who got the puppy several months ago, came up with the name because it is derived from the Latin word for wolf, the AP stated.

The couple apparently tried to keep the puppy's name a secret in the hopes of having a small bit of privacy. But inquiring minds had to know. On Tuesday the public learned the puppy's name when Kate was visiting with children who have behavioral problems in Oxford, southern England.

Little Lupo is reportedly entertaining Kate while Will is on military assignment in the Falkland Islands.

ABC News reported that the puppy was first seen playing with the Royal couple in January.
