Two Americans win Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences

US economists Alvin Roth and Lloyd Shapley won the 2012 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for their research that helps explain how to match different economic agents like when doctors are assigned to hospitals, students to schools and more.
