David Underhill

David Underhill leads content syndication for GlobalPost. The former Senior Vice President of Tribune Interactive, Mr. Underhill heads Underhill Advisors LLC, (www.underhilladvisors.com), a media consulting firm in Portsmouth, NH. Mr. Underhill is a 10-year veteran of the Tribune Co. in Chicago, where he served as President and CEO of ChicagoLand Television News Inc. (CLTV) a local cable news channel; as Senior Vice President, Tribune Interactive, programming and local market operations; and as Vice President, audio/video publishing, Tribune Publishing group, among other posts. He was President, general manager and principal owner of the radio station WKVT AM/FM Brattleboro, VT and has also held positions at WCVB-TV Boston, WGBH-TV Boston, Group W Washington News bureau and WBZ-TV Boston.

GlobalPost has 18 executives and editorial staff at its Boston headquarters dedicated to marketing, sales, and business activities as well as editing and producing the thousands of pieces of content we publish each year. At the core of our team is our network of credentialed journalists around the world that live and work in the countries they cover, providing a ground-level view on the most complicated and interesting international stories. GlobalPost is advised by a distinguished group of journalists on its Editorial Advisory Board and is funded by a small group of private investors who believe in our mission and have a long-term perspective on our business.
