This week, a member named Hoffman requested an article about insurgencies that don't make the news regularly, such as Albania's and Georgia's. That gives GlobalPost a good opportunity to check in on the status of these uprisings. Check back soon for the resulting article.

Recently, with the huge number of destructive weather events across the globe, news organizations have reported about theories on 'weather modification'. Long before the study of weather became scientific, humans have been trying to control their climates-- think of rain dances. My questions are then: Is weather modification/technology a myth? If not, is it simply a way for nations/decision-making bodies to create pleasant weather conditions for specific areas or events or could it potentially be a planned tool to 'weaponize' weather?

I would like to hear something about the rest of the world's revolts that are only rarely mentioned, like Albania, for example.
What other nations are just simply under the radar and not juicy to cover?
Is there anything simmering in or around Georgia, Chechnya or other parts of the former SSRs?

I would like the GlobalPost to report on the innocent lives lost in Libya due to NATO bombings and 'pro-democracy' rebels bullets

My good friend Kanae Mizumura, who lives in Tokyo, said that the news in Japan is that the big earthquake and tsunami that recently occurred is in fact the predecessor to an even larger earthquake event to come soon. She said that government is issuing warnings that the recent quake has in fact pushes the envelope for a much bigger quake to happen soon.

We have not heard this here! Perhaps this is a story to investigate?

There have been a lot of reports about radioactivity off the coast of Fukushima. How far will that spread, how dangerous is it, and what are authorities doing to make sure we don't eat contaminated fish?

The banksters and their protectors in the regulatory arm of most governments in the world. Their immunity from prosecution, due in part to the erosion of legislation originally designed to protect the average citizen against rapacious financial oligarchs, and their subsequent manipulation of markets furthering their accretion of the worlds wealth and the antidemocratic forces that come with this massive wealth.
