Real Madrid announces departure of Mourinho

Madrid, May 20 (EFE).- Jose Mourinho will leave Real Madrid after the final two matches of the La Liga season, club president Florentino Perez said Monday. "We both have decided that this is the right moment to treat this relationship as finished," Perez said during a press conference at the club's Santiago Bernabeu stadium. The Portuguese manager, who joined the Blancos in 2010, still has three years left on his contract. Perez thanked Mourinho for his efforts and wished him success "in his new phase."
