Madrid, May 20 (EFE).- Spanish national team coach Vicente del Bosque had nothing but kind words Monday for goalkeeper Iker Casillas' response to losing his place in the starting lineup at Real Madrid.
Casillas, who turned 32 Monday, is the long-time captain of the national squad.
If Casillas had sought his advice after being relegated to the bench by Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, Del Bosque said, "I would have told him to act as he has done: being obedient, disciplined and discreet."
