Athletic beats Granada 1-0 in Spanish league

Aritz Aduriz's second-half header gave 10-man Athletic Bilbao a 1-0 win against Granada in the Spanish league on Monday. A corner delivered by Ibai Gomez to the far post was headed in by Aduriz in the 67th minute.Athletic forward Markel Susaeta was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for a clumsy tackle from behind on Manuel "Nolito" Agudo in the 80th minute. Granada came close to equalizing in injury time but Yacine Brahimi's right-footed shot hit the post.Athletic is 13th in the standings on 35 points after 29 games, while Granada is 16th on 28 points.

(Adds details) MADRID, Jan 24 (Reuters) - Athletic Bilbao's Spain forward Fernando Llorente will join Juventus at the end of the season after signing a four-year deal, the Italian club said on Thursday. "The future of Fernando Llorente is black and white," Juve said in a statement on their website (www.juventus.com). The 27-year-old Llorente, whose deal with Bilbao expires in June, has signed a contract with the Serie A side to June 2017 and will stay at Bilbao until the end of the season.
