DeMar DeRozan scored 30 points and Rudy Gay finished with 22 as the Toronto Raptors easily defeated the playoff-bound Atlanta Hawks 113-96 at Philips Arena on Tuesday. Jonas Valanciunas scored 13 points, Amir Johnson and John Lucas chipped in with 11 apiece while Kyle Lowry handed out 11 assists for the Raptors who have won four consecutive games all against teams that are headed to the NBA postseason. "(Our team) did a good job having the rhythm offensively, taking what the game gave them," Raptors head coach Dwane Casey said.

NBA: Thunder clinch top seed in West

The Oklahoma City Thunder clinched home court advantage throughout the Western Conference playoffs by beating Sacramento 104-95 Monday behind a 29-point effort from Kevin Durant. Durant also had eight assists and seven rebounds for the Thunder who scored 62 points in the paint compared to just 46 for the Kings in front of a crowd of 18,203 at Chesapeake Energy Arena. Russell Westbrook finished with 21 points and eight assists, while Serge Ibaka had 14 points, seven rebounds and two blocks in the win.

NBA: Jackson placed on waivers by Spurs

Stephen Jackson, who spent a total of four seasons with the San Antonio Spurs, has been placed on waivers, the National Basketball Association team announced on Friday. The 13-year-veteran Jackson had two stints with the Spurs in 2001-03 and 2012-13. He was averaging 6.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game this season. In 849 career games, Jackson has averaged 15.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists. Jackson will be an unrestricted free agent when the season ends. gph/rcw

Efes beaten by Madrid, to face Olympiacos next

Anadolu Efes was defeated 86-66 by Real Madrid in the final match of the group stage on the road on Thursday evening to face Greece's Olympiacos Piraeus in the quarterfinals. It was the third consecutive defeat for Efes in the group games, and the Istanbul side is ranked third following the Real Madrid match. It will next be paired with the runner-up of Group F, Olympiacos. Real Madrid started the game off on a good note, achieving a double-digit lead in the first quarter, 25-14.
