Tennis: Sharapova confirms Dimitrov romance

World number two Maria Sharapova confirmed on Saturday that she is dating fellow tennis star, the highly-rated Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov. The two had been caught on camera kissing in the streets of Madrid on Wednesday, the day after Dimitrov had dumped world number one Novak Djokovic out of the Madrid Masters. Sharapova had responded to the publishing of those photos by cryptically writing "how did you catch us?" on the courtside camera after her Madrid Open quarter-final on Friday.

Unseeded Grigor Dimitrov came from a set down to beat Marcos Baghdatis 6-7 (4/7), 7-6 (7/0), 6-3 on Friday to reach the semi-finals of the Rotterdam World Tennis tournament. The Bulgarian's performance showed that he is returning to the kind of form he produced at the start of the year, when he reached the final in Brisbane before losing to Andy Murray.
