Bird flu no reason to panic: WHO

The World Health Organization (WHO) on Monday called on the public to remain calm, as human infections of new bird flu strain H7N9 are isolated and may remain so. The small number of infections means that there is no wide-ranging public health concern at the moment, according to Dr. Michael O'Leary, WHO representative in China. Local bans are unlikely to stop bottled water overtaking soda pop as Americans' preferred beverage by the end of the decade, the chairman of Nestle Waters North America said Thursday.
