US Secretary of State John Kerry on Tuesday hailed a shift in the Arab League position to accept for the first time the idea of land swaps between the Palestinians and Israelis in any peace deal. Kerry said the Arab League had said it could accept Israel's 1967 borders "with adjustments to reflect mutually agreed upon land swaps recognizing some of the changes that have taken place. That is a very big step forward."

Archaeologists find 2,300-year-old industrial site in Egypt

Cairo, Apr 25 (EFE).- An industrial site dating to the Greco-Roman period (332 B.C. to A.D. 395) and housing several ceramics and bronze shops was discovered in the Sinai Peninsula, the Egyptian Antiquities Ministry said. The ancient industrial site, which is in excellent condition, is east of the Suez Canal in North Sinai province, the ministry said in a statement. Archaeologists found the remains of several administrative buildings, warehouses and workers' dwellings.
