49ers announce 20-year, $220M naming rights deal for new Santa Clara stadium with Levi's

SAN FRANCISCO - The future home of the San Francisco 49ers will be called Levi's Stadium. The 49ers and Levi Strauss Levi's CEO Chip Bergh and 49ers CEO Jed York announced the deal at Levi's Plaza in San Francisco. Santa Clara Mayor Jamie Matthews and San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee also attended the news conference.

Nowhere is that more apparent than offensive guards. In 2011 and 2012, the Cardinals acquired guards Daryn Colledge and Adam Snyder via free agency. They paid Colledge a $3.5 signing bonus and another $3.5 million last year when they converted salary to signing bonus.

In a move that didn't come as too much of a great surprise, the Colts decided to part ways with defensive end/outside linebacker Jerry Hughes by trading the team's 2010 first-round draft pick to the Buffalo Bills. In exchange for Hughes, who has been something of an enigma the past three seasons, Indianapolis picked up middle linebacker Kelvin Sheppard.
