Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice could face up to five years in prison after a grand jury indicted him on Thursday on a charge of aggravated assault. The charge stems from an incident on February 15 at the Revel Casino in which Rice allegedly struck his fiancee, Janay Palmer, rendering her unconscious. Security video obtained and posted online by TMZ.com showed Rice lifting Palmer out of an elevator and laying her on the floor. Both Rice and Palmer were originally charged with simple assault and domestic violence in the apparent altercation.
