Preview: Creighton at Georgetown

While Wooden Award favorite Doug McDermott continues to rewrite the record books, the success of No. 13 Creighton in the NCAA Tournament will ultimately come down to its supporting cast. McDermott's teammates will try to duplicate their performance against Georgetown last month when they visit the Hoyas on Tuesday. The Bluejays defeated Georgetown 76-63 on Jan. 25 as McDermott and Will Artino (career high) scored 14 points apiece to lead five Bluejays in double figures.

Preview: Marquette at Providence

A pair of NCAA Tournament hopefuls meet Tuesday when Marquette visits Providence in a mammoth Big East affair. The host Friars are squarely on the bubble and might cement a spot with a victory at Creighton on Saturday, but falling flat at home to the Golden Eagles could hinder that mission and also drop Providence into a fifth-place tie in the conference. The Friars were able to bounce back from a tough double-overtime loss at Villanova two weeks ago by sweeping a two-game road swing at Butler and Seton Hall.

Preview: Purdue at Iowa

With its national ranking soon to be gone, No.19 Iowa will be playing for something far more important when it faces visiting Purdue on Saturday in Big Ten action. The Hawkeyes saw their only losing streak of the season reach three games Thursday in a loss at Indiana in a game rescheduled from Feb. 18 and likely sit on the bubble for an at-large big into the NCAA Tournament. "You turn it over 18 times and we don't throw the ball inside in the second half. We tried to do it all at once," head coach Fran McCaffery told reporters.
