US judge confirms Lohan trial set for March 18

A judge refused to drop two of the three criminal charges against US actress Lindsay Lohan and confirmed Friday that the troubled starlet's trial would take place in Los Angeles on March 18. Lohan was charged in November with obstructing a police officer, giving false testimony and driving recklessly, after an accident in which a Porsche hit a truck on the Pacific Coast Highway in June.
