Islamabad, Apr 4 (EFE).- Six insurgents died in an attack Thursday on a border post of Pakistan's security forces in the northwestern tribal region of Kurram, which borders on Afghanistan, a Pakistani official told Efe.
The incident took place at dawn in the Bhittai zone when a group of insurgents tried to attack a post manned by members of the Frontier Corps, wounding three of them.
The guards returned the enemy fire and managed to kill six of the attackers, according to a member of the local Kurram administration, Mazir Hussain.
