SEOUL, Nov. 1 (Yonhap) -- Kia Motors Corp., South Korea's second-biggest automaker, said Friday that its sales rose 7.6 percent last month from a year earlier.
Kia sold 249,108 vehicles -- 39,000 at home and 210,108 abroad -- last month, compared with 231,488 units in October of 2012, the company said in a statement.
The carmaker said that a rise in overseas sales contributed to the growth in overall sales.
In particular, sales of vehicles made overseas hit a record high of 112,300 units, it said.
