Blackhawks bemused as unflappable Rask basks in glory

By Steve Keating (Reuters) - The Chicago Blackhawks are finding out what the Pittsburgh Penguins already knew - that Boston Bruins netminder Tuukka Rask is pretty good. The ice-cool Finn was unbeatable again on Monday, stopping all 28 shots he faced to backstop the Bruins to a 2-0 win over Chicago and a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven Stanley Cup Finals.

Tuukka Rask stopped 28 shots on Monday to lead the Boston Bruins to a 2-0 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks and into the lead in the NHL Stanley Cup finals. The Bruins took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven championship series thanks to second-period goals from Daniel Paille and Patrice Bergeron. In the third, the Bruins relied on Rask to preserve the lead and once again he came through with his third shutout of the playoffs.

BOSTON (Reuters) - The Boston Bruins scored second period goals through Dan Paille and Patrice Bergeron to jump out to a 2-0 lead over the Chicago Blackhawks in Game Three of the Stanley Cup Final. Paille, who had the overtime winner in Game Two, opened the scoring before Bergeron converted a powerplay chance, taking a cross-ice feed from Jaromir Jagr and hammering past Corey Crawford just as their two-man advantage was ending. The powerplay goal was just the second of Final.

Tim Hortons faces pressure from another activist investor

TORONTO (Reuters) - Restaurant chain Tim Hortons Inc <THI.TO>, which recently outlined plans to address the concerns of activist investor Highfields Capital, now faces pressure from another activist investor. Scout Capital Management, a U.S. hedge fund, disclosed on Monday that it has raised its stake in the Canadian chain. The fund now owns 5.5 percent of Tim Hortons' stock, up from about 1.5 percent, as of the end of March.
