PMLN, BNP to constitute committee for set adjustment

Pakistan Muslim League N and Balochistan national party BNP would constitute a committee for seat adjustment. Holding of transparent elections in Balochistan does not see possible. These views were expressed by PMLN leader Mian Shahbaz Sharif and President BNP Sardar Akhtar Mengal while speaking to media men after meeting with Akhtar Mengal at his residence here Wednesday.Lashkari Raisani, Jamal shah Kakar, Sana Baloch, Sajid Tareen, and others were also present. Mengal concerned over EU Observers Mission

President Balochistan National Party Sardar Akhtar Mengal while terming regretful decision of European Union Observers Mission not to visit the province said that prevalent situation in the province was benefitting those sitting in check posts. President approves appointment of six addl. Judges of Lahore High Court

President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday on the advice of the Prime Minister approved the appointment of six Additional Judges of Lahore High Court for a period of one year. The judges who have been appointed are: Shoaib Saeed, Atir Mahmood, Shahid Bilal Hassan, Miss Aalia Neelum, Shezada Mazhar and Abid Aziz Sheikh.

PML-N, BNP agree on seat adjustment

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Balochistan National Party (BNP) agreed on seat adjustment ahead of general elections.This was announced during joint press conference by senior central leader PML-N, former CM Punjab Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and BNP chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal on Wednesday.Speaking on the occasion, Akhtar Mengal said it seems difficult to hold free and fair elections under the conditions prevailing in Balochistan.The BNP chief said that conspiracies are being hatched to stop us for participating in the elections.

Mengal wants to douse fire in Balochistan
