NFL Team Report - Jacksonville Jaguars - INSIDE SLANT
Times are changing for Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew.
Since Fred Taylor departed after the 2008 season, Jones-Drew has carried the brunt of the Jaguars' running game. He carried 312 times in 2009, 299 in 2010, and 343 in 2011 when he led the league with 1,606 yards rushing. He had only 86 carries last year because he suffered a Lisfranc injury on the first play of the sixth game and missed the rest of the season.
