RugbyL: Monaghan aims for Wigan revenge

Joel Monaghan has lost back-to-back Super League Grand Finals and, as he seeks to make it third time lucky, next up is the side that stood in the way last year. Back then Warrington were beaten 30-16 by Wigan at Old Trafford and although winger Monaghan scored a try that day it was not enough. And, after each side has made an indifferent start to the new campaign, they meet for the first time since October on Thursday.

Huddersfield will face St Helens in the fourth round of English rugby league's Challenge Cup, it was announced on Tuesday. Meanwhile defending champions Wigan, who beat Hull at Wembley in last year's final to lift the trophy for a record 19th time, will be away to second-tier Dewsbury on the weekend of April 5-6. RugbyU: Future bright as England look to All Blacks

England coach Stuart Lancaster put aside the loss of the Six Nations title to Ireland on Saturday to express confidence and pride in a youthful side who will next face the formidable challenge of a three-test series in New Zealand. A potent England scored seven tries on their way to steamrollering their way through a limp Italian defence and a 52-11 win at the Stadio Olimpico to raise hopes of a last day hold-up for the title.
