Cricket-Australia bowled out for 74 as Kulasekara catches fire

Jan 18 (Reuters) - Right-arm pacer Nuwan Kulasekara claimed a career-best five for 22 as Sri Lanka skittled Australia for just 74 runs inside 27 overs in the third one-day internationals in Brisbane on Friday. Kulasekara tormented the right-handers with his in-swinging deliveries while Lasith Malinga (3-14) polished off the tail as Australia collapsed in 26.4 overs with only Mitchell Starc (22 not out) and Xavier Doherty (15) managing double digits.

Cricket-Australia 170 all out in second ODI against Sri Lanka

ADELAIDE, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Australia stumbled to 170 all out after being asked to bat first in the second one-day international against Sri Lanka on Sunday, giving the tourists a chance to level the five-match series. Rain in Adelaide delayed the start of the match by about an hour and Sri Lanka's bowlers made use of cloud cover and moisture in the pitch to tie down the batsmen with the swinging ball.
