In appeal, Apple says judge 'wrong' in e-books case

Apple has appealed the verdict in its e-books price-fixing case, saying a US federal judge was "wrong" in ruling that the tech giant stifled competition. An update next month will add the ability to live stream video games, join in on games with broadcasters, initiate game broadcasts with voice commands, archive game clips and watch Twitch streams broadcast from any device, including the PS4. China firm awaits ruling in Apple Siri lawsuit

A Chinese company suing Apple over similarities between its product and the "Siri" personal assistant believes its case has merit and is awaiting a court ruling, a lawyer said Tuesday. Shanghai's Zhizhen Network Technology, which holds the rights to "Xiao i Robot" software patented in 2004, has accused the US technology giant of infringing patents with its "intelligent personal assistant" Siri. The case was formally heard by a Shanghai court in July last year but no ruling has been announced.
