Football: Lennon demands strong finish from Celtic

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has warned his players the hard work isn't over yet, despite his side having already wrapped up the Scottish Premiership title. The Hoops sealed their third championship in a row last month but still have five games to play, starting with a visit to high-flying Motherwell on Saturday. The Fir Park side are still battling it out with Aberdeen for second place and a shot at European competition next season.

Football: Aberdeen draw leaves Celtic on verge of title

Celtic can clinch the Scottish Premiership title on Wednesday with a win at Partick Thistle after second-placed Aberdeen only managed a 1-1 draw at Ross County on Tuesday. Aberdeen, who won the League Cup earlier this month for their first silverware in 19 years, have been in superb form of late but fell behind in the first half in Dingwall when Dutchman Melvin de Leeuw scored for struggling County. Adam Rooney equalised late on for the Dons, but they had Andrew Considine sent off as they tried unsuccessfully to find a winner.

Football: Celtic seek title tonic after cup woes

Celtic keeper Fraser Forster says securing another Scottish Premiership title will make up for his side's lack of success in cup competitions this season. The Glasgow giants are 24 points clear of Aberdeen at the top of the table with just nine games left as they close in on their third successive championship. Celtic, who host St Mirren on Saturday, are just seven points away from three-in-a-row and can wrap up the title at Partick Thistle on Wednesday if results go their way.

Football: That's entertainment as Celtic aim for final flourish

Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen insists there is still plenty to play for despite the club's commanding lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership. The Hoops could move 24 points clear of nearest rivals Aberdeen with nine games remaining if they can get a win away to Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Friday. It would leave the Glasgow giants just two wins way from retaining the Scottish Premiership title.
