Computacenter posts higher full-year revenue, shares rise

By Aashika Jain (Reuters) - British IT services provider Computacenter Plc reported a rise in full-year group revenue that exceeded analysts' estimates, boosted by a strong demand for its maintenance services in the UK. Shares in Computacenter, which sells PCs apart from providing services including software upgrades, rose as much as 4.6 percent on Thursday, making the stock one of the top gainers on the FTSE-250 index.

Contract issues in Germany, weak French ops hit Computacenter

(Reuters) - Computacenter Plc said it expects to make only a modest progress in performance this year due to the impact of ongoing contractual issues in Germany and a weak French business, sending the company's shares down nearly 14 percent. The stock was trading at 470 pence at 08:47 a.m. on Wednesday, making it the biggest percentage loser on the FTSE 250 Midcap Index.

Computacenter revenue climbs on boost from Germany, UK ops

Jan 17 (Reuters) - Technology services provider Computacenter Plc said revenue for the full year rose 2 percent, backed by a strong performance in Germany and the United Kingdom, the company's biggest markets. Computacenter, which provides IT infrastructure services and also advises customers on IT strategy, said full-year results were expected to be marginally ahead of its expectations. The company, which serves customers in more than 100 countries, said revenue from Germany rose 4 percent on a constant currency basis.
