By Matt Cronin SAN JOSE, California Feb 17 (Reuters) - Canada's Milos Raonic beat Tommy Haas 6-4 6-3 on Sunday to win his third straight San Jose Open title and bring the final curtain down on the second oldest men's professional tournament in the United States. Raonic became the tournament's first three-times winner since Tony Trabert (1953-55) and said it was a pity he would not have a chance to chalk up another win at the event, which dates back to 1889 and is being dropped from the ATP schedule.

Tennis-'Diva' Raonic has appetite for grand slam success

By Ian Ransom MELBOURNE, Jan 17 (Reuters) - Milos Raonic is as fastidious about his food as his attitude to training and hopes his 'diva-like' attention to detail might help him gate-crash the exclusive club guarded jealously by the 'Big Four' of men's tennis. The towering 22-year-old continued his steady rise in 2012, winning two titles and finishing the season as the youngest player in the top 20, but believes greater success could be on the menu in 2013.
