Mexico City, Feb 20 (EFE).- America crushed Necaxa 3-1, while the Culiacan Dorados beat Pachuca 5-2 in the fourth round of the Copa MX, a tournament that features 11 Mexican First-Division teams and 13 Second-Division teams.
America scored on goals by Ventura Alvarado, Antonio Lopez and Gil Cordero, overcoming the initial lead by Necaxa in the match played Tuesday night at Mexico City's Azteca Stadium.
The Dorados, the defending Copa MX champions, got goals from four different players and benefited from a self-goal by Aldair Meza in their decisive win over Pachuca.
