Israelis mark Worldwide Fur Free Friday in Tel Aviv
JERUSALEM, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Hundreds of people marched in Tel Aviv on Friday to mark the Worldwide Fur Free Friday, calling on to outlaw fur trade and simulating a bleeding fashion show.
The rally opened with an installation of catwalk models wearing bleeding fur garments. It continued with a march to Kikar Hamedina, a square in which Tel Aviv's most expensive international designer shops are located, and chants of "Fur is a dead fashion," "we don' t want furs in Israel!" and "Unethical, Unaesthetic - Wear Synthetics!"
