Preview: Sharks at Canucks

After becoming the first road team to post a victory this postseason, the sixth-seeded San Jose Sharks look to take control of their Western Conference first-round series against the third-seeded Vancouver Canucks when they visit the Northwest Division champions for Game 2 on Friday. San Jose fell behind before scoring three unanswered goals en route to a 3-1 triumph in the series opener on Wednesday.

Sharks 3, Canucks 2 (OT): Patrick Marleau scored the tying goal with 56 seconds remaining in the third period and Raffi Torres tallied at 5:31 of overtime as visiting San Jose took a 2-0 lead in its Western Conference first-round series with Northwest Division champion Vancouver. Captain Joe Thornton also scored, Brent Burns notched two assists and Antti Niemi turned aside 29 shots for the sixth-seeded Sharks, who host Game 3 on Sunday.
