RugbyL: Smith impressed by rock-solid Wolves

Warrington Wolves head coach Tony Smith believed it was his side's defensive effort which proved decisive as they ran out comfortable winners against Bradford Bulls. Australian-born Smith led the Wolves to the final of the Super League last season and thanks to his team's solid defence, he looks on course for the play-offs once more after Warrington consolidated third place in the table with a 32-4 win.

RugbyL: Leeds over the Moon after routing Hull KR

Joel Moon continued his fine recent run with a try as Leeds Rhinos powered past Hull KR 44-10 to stay in the top four of the Super League. The Rhinos took control in the opening 40 minutes, running in four tries through Ryan Hall, Brett Delaney, Zak Hardaker and Mitch Achurch to lead 20-6. Cory Paterson had responded for Hull KR after Hall's early score, but that was as good as it got for the ex-Newcastle Knight and his teammates.
