The victory Friday night at the TD Garden in Boston gave the Knicks a 3-0 series lead in a match-up that was expected to be one of the most hotly contested of the first round. Anthony scored 26 points, while point guard Raymond Felton and reserve swingman J.R. Smith added 15 points each.

The Boston Celtics regular season-ending home game on Tuesday against Indiana has been cancelled after deadly explosions rocked the Boston Marathon, the NBA announced Monday. The game, which was set to be played at the downtown Garden arena just blocks from the site of the blasts, would not be re-scheduled, the league said. The move follows the National Hockey League's decision to postpone Monday night's contest between the Boston Bruins and the Ottawa Senators.

The win streak is now the second longest in NBA history, although the Heat still have their work cut out to equal the 33 victories in a row put together by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1971-72 season. James scored 37 points, dished out 12 assists and grabbed seven rebounds Monday night at TD Bank Garden. He also scored the winning bucket with 10.5 seconds remaining in regulation.
