Boxing: Alexander injury delays Brook world title bid again

Undefeated British welterweight Kell Brook will have to wait again for his first world title bout after a scheduled fight with Devon Alexander on February 23 in Detroit was postponed on Monday. Alexander, a 25-year-old American, suffered a biceps injury during training that forced an indefinite postponement of the International Boxing Federation crown he won last October with a unanimous decision over Randall Bailey. It's the second delay for the bout, which had been planned for January 19 in Los Angeles but was pushed back after Brook suffered an ankle injury in December.
