The Jewish community in Toulouse has suffered an unpleasant flashback to last year's killings by Islamist gunman Mohamed Merah with an incident in which a school student was briefly confronted by a woman brandishing a knife. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening, outside the Ohr Torah school where Merah shot dead a rabbi and three children on March 19, 2012. The student, who fled back into the school, was not hurt and the woman turned out to be a well-known local with a history of psychiatric problems.
