Soccer-Cagliari get green light to stage Milan clash at home

ROME, Feb 8 (Reuters) - Cagliari have been given the go-ahead by local Sardinian authorities to stage Sunday's Serie A match with AC Milan at their Is Arenas stadium, Italian media reported on Friday. The decision from the regional tribunal authority (TAR) comes after the Italian league on Thursday barred Cagliari from using the ground for security reasons.

Feb 7 (Reuters) - Cagliari have again been barred from using their ground for security reasons and must play Sunday's Serie A match against AC Milan in Turin instead, the Italian league announced. The league made the decision on Thursday after the Cagliari city government said it considered the Is Arenas stadium was "unable to cope with the encounter due to the ... influx of spectators who share an historic rivalry". Cagliari have had trouble with the Is Arenas since moving at the start of the season.
