Ski jumping: Bardal claims small hill gold at Nordic worlds

Norway's Anders Bardal was on Saturday crowned king of the small hill at the Nordic world championships. The defending World Cup ski jumping champion produced efforts of 103.5 and 100m for a total of 252.6 points. Current world leader Gregor Schlierenzauer of Austria claimed silver with 248.4pts (98.0, 97.5m), with Slovenian Peter Prevc taking bronze (244.3pts; 102.5, 98.5m). jr/lp/dj
