Rally marks 30 years to murder of Israeli peace activist

Over a hundred people gathered in Jerusalem on Sunday to honour the memory of an Israeli peace activist who was murdered by a right-wing extremist at a demonstration exactly 30 years ago. Emil Grunzweig, a teacher and activist, was killed by a grenade hurled by right-wing extremist Yona Avrushmi, during a demonstration organised by Peace Now movement against Israel's war in Lebanon. Sunday's demonstration took place outside the prime minister's office, where the original protest was also staged.
