Australian coach Ian Millward has parted company with rock bottom Castleford after a miserable start to the Super League season.
The Tigers have picked up just three points from 11 games and won just once in their last 18.
Millward's assistant Stuart Donlan has also left the club while former scrum-half Danny Orr, who joined the backroom staff after retiring at the end of last season, has been placed in temporary charge for Saturday's clash with Widnes.
The controversial former St Helens and Wigan coach had a torrid time in Castleford.
