NFL: Vick agrees to new deal with Eagles

Michael Vick has agreed to a restructured contract to remain with the Philadelphia Eagles but will have to fight to keep his starting quarterback job, the NFL club announced on Monday. The deal, reportedly for only the 2013 season, will give Vick a chance to show new Eagles coach Chip Kelly what he can do with a team that struggled to a 4-12 record last season, but with rival Nick Foles also in the talent mix. Foles replaced Vick as the starter late last season after Vick was sidelined by a concussion.
