PPP candidate's power supply disconnected over dues

Fahim gets bail in NICL scam case

The Federal Anti-Corruption Court on Wednesday granted interim bail till April 29 to senior PPP leader and former Commerce Minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim in the multi-million-rupee NICL land scam case. Sanaullah Khan Ghauri, the In-charge judge of the court gave Fahim bail in the sum of Rs500,000. Earlier, the same court accepting a charge-sheet filed by Commercial Banking Circle of Federal Investigation Agency, had issued the non-bailalbe warrants against Fahim and other accused and directed the FIA to arrest and produce them in court by April 12.

Lawyers of the Sindh High Court (SHC) badly beaten up a lawyer for filing a petition against approval of former Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah’s nomination papers, Media reports on Wednesday.According to Media Reports, Khairpur District Bar’s president Manzoor Ansari filed a petition against approval of Qaim Ali Shah’s nomination papers.Today Ansari and Qaim Ali Shah’s lawyer Liaqat Shar presented in the Election Tribunal and both exchanged harsh words.Tribunal issued notices to Qaim Ali Shah and others and summoned them on April 12.
