Indian police book head of anti-nuclear NGO over bomb blast
NEW DELHI, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- Indian police have booked cases of criminal offenses against some activists engaged in anti- nuclear protests in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, after a bomb blast killed six in a fishing village inhabited by the protests near a nuclear power plant Tuesday, said local media Wednesday. The people booked included S.P. Uthayakumar, head of the anti- nuclear NGO People's Movement Against Nuclear Energy, and some of his supporters, said Press Trust of India.
