Seeking retrial, OJ Simpson recounts Vegas robbery

O.J. Simpson gave a blow-by-blow account Wednesday of the night of a September 2007 casino hotel robbery for which he was jailed, as he seeks a retrial. Dressed in a blue prison outfit in court, the 65-year-old former American football star insisted he did not knowingly break the law on the day he reclaimed what he believed were his own stolen belongings. Pistorius saga draws comparison to O.J. Simpson trial

They're both murder cases involving high-profile athletes, so it's inevitable that comparisons will be drawn between South Africa's "Blade Runner" Oscar Pistorius and American O.J. Simpson. American football star turned media personality Simpson, now 65, was acquitted of the June 1994 murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson after one of the most sensational trials in US criminal history. Simpson is serving a 33-year prison sentence in Nevada after being convicted on unrelated crimes, including armed robbery and kidnapping.
