Baseball-Granderson fractures forearm, to miss Opening Day

Feb 24 (Reuters) - New York Yankees outfielder Curtis Granderson fractured his right forearm in his first at-bat in spring training and will miss the start of the regular season, the American League team said on Sunday. Granderson was hit by a pitch from Toronto's J.A. Happ in the first inning at Tampa, Florida and is expected to miss about 10 weeks, the Yankees said on their website. X-rays revealed the extent of the injury.
