RugbyU: Scotland hopeful over Ford fitness

Scotland's medical staff say that hooker Ross Ford should be fit to play against Wales in their next Six Nations match despite having suffered a facial injury in Sunday's 12-8 defeat of Ireland. The Edinburgh forward had to leave the fray early in the second half at Murrayfield but Scotland are confident he will be available to feature when the Welsh come to Edinburgh on March 9. "Fordy suffered severe facial lacerations, we believe as a result of a collision or collisions," said Scotland team doctor James Robson.
