Singer Yandel records his first salsa song

San Juan, Mar 10 (EFE).- Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Yandel recorded the first salsa song of his career when doing the remix of the tune "En la Oscuridad" with compatriot and famed salsa star Gilberto Santa Rosa. "En la Oscuridad," composed by Jean Rodriguez, had Yandel and Santa Rosa singing together - the former described it "an honor" that the salsa star accepted his invitation to take part.

Rapper Yandel leaves hospital

San Juan, May 10 (EFE).- , Yandel, one-half of the Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel, was back home Friday after being released from a hospital in Orlando, Florida, where he was treated for kidney stones, his agent told Efe. "Yandel is back home in Orlando recovering from a case of kidney stones and afterwards the doctors will decide if they should operate or not," the artist's agent Jennifer Nieman said. Due to his medical condition, Wisin & Yandel rescheduled their planned weekend shows in Philadelphia, Massachusetts and Connecticut for later this month.

Don Omar concert in Puerto Rico shows he's king of reggaeton

Wisin & Yandel say their lyrics are not offensive to women
