CSKA Moscow extended their lead in the Russian Premier League with a confident 2-0 win at Samara on Saturday.
The Red Army side moved on to 46 points from 20 matches to stay five points ahead of second-placed Anzhi Makhachkala, who play at Saransk on Sunday.
Reigning champions Zenit St Petersburg, who also play Sunday at Kazan, are third on 38 points.
Though CSKA came to Samara without a slew of first teamers they still started in a lively fashion on the uneven Samara pitch.
