Golf-Gomez and Brown share lead in Puerto Rico

March 9 (Reuters) - Argentine Fabian Gomez and American Scott Brown share the lead at 18-under at the Puerto Rico Open as they head into Sunday's final round four strokes clear of the field. Gomez, searching for a maiden PGA Tour victory, shot a seven-under round of 65 at the Trump International Golf Club with his one bogey coming on the 10th hole. Brown, from Augusta, Georgia, had a five-under 67, also with just one bogey.

Argentina's Fabian Gomez, seeking his first US PGA Tour title, fired a seven-under par 65 on Saturday to match American Scott Brown for a share of the lead at the Puerto Rico Open. Gomez and Brown, both second-year PGA players whose best career finish on the US tour came at this event a year ago, finished the third round of the $3.5 million event on 18-under par 198 for 54 holes.
