Daisy Fuentes returns to Hispanic TV on "La Voz Kids"

Miami, May 7 (EFE).- Model and businesswoman in the world of fashion Daisy Fuentes is returning to Spanish-language television as the host of the "La Voz Kids" music competition on Telemundo. The talent contest, inspired by the success of NBC's "The Voice" and which aired for the first time last Sunday with a record 1.7 million viewers, also features singers Paulina Rubio, Prince Royce and Roberto Tapia on the panel of judges. In addition to hosting the program, Fuentes also functions sort of like the "encouragement committee" for the young contestants.

Football: Real Madrid to sue Fuentes over debt claim

Real Madrid are planning to sue Eufemiano Fuentes, the Spanish doctor at the centre of a blood doping scandal who claims the Spanish football giants owe him money. In a statement released late Friday the club stated: "Facing the attempt by Fuentes to mislead, clearly with bad intention, public opinion regarding the nature of his relationship with the club Real Madrid are going to take immediate legal action against Fuentes." Fuentes is currently on trial in Madrid on charges of endangering public health by performing blood transfusions on a number of high-profile cyclists.
