The other two candidate cities, the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo and Turkey's Izmir, were eliminated respectively in the first and second round. Dubai Expo 2020 will be held from Oct. 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021 with the theme "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future."

The 2013 International Well-being Food exposition is scheduled to run from Aug. 30 to Sept. 17 at Samgeori Park in Cheonan, 92 kilometers south of Seoul, bringing together 321 companies from 28 countries to explore recent trends in the food industry, and promote exchange and cooperation among them, according to the event's organizers.
