LHP Pedro Figueroa was called up from Triple-Sacramento on Sunday when major-league rosters were expanded. Figueroa, who has a high-90s fastball, went 3-4 with two saves and a 4.10 ERA in a career-high 46 appearances at Sacramento, including one start. He struck out 49 batters in 59 1/3 innings. Left-handers hit just .216 against him. Figueroa made his major-league debut last season, posting a 3.32 ERA in 19 relief appearances. "I always stayed positive," Figueroa said. "I always expected to be up here."
